Welcome Week is an introductory series of events for incoming freshman not only to Student Government, but also to essential areas of student life.

Need help navigating yourself around campus? Ask us! UT Libraries, Senate of College Councils, and Student Government will be spread all throughout campus with helpful maps and info! Look for us in the bright neon shirts!
Ice Cream Social and Open House
Thursday, August 30 | 3 – 5 pm | JES A115
Come enjoy FREE ice cream and planners while you take tours of the Sanger Learning Center and the Center for Strategic Advising & Career Counseling. Spend time with Student Government members and learn how these two centers can help you find your path and make the grade!
SG Involvement Session
Friday, August 31 | 5 – 6 pm | Legislative Assembly Room (SAC 2.302)
Be a student leader with your UT Student Government. Learn how you can get involved as a first-year student.
Feature Flick and Dance Session
Friday, August 31 | 8 pm | PCL Plaza
Sticking around on Friday Night? Join Student Government, the Student Events Center’s Film Committee, the Libraries, and the Office of the Dean of Students for a Movie Night! We’ll be watching and dancing to Girl Walk // All Day, so bring your friends and roommates to our flick, featuring the music of Girl TalkOld School, so bring your friends and your roommates for a textbook-free fun night!
SG Agency Fair and Assembly Kickoff
