Longhorn Run

The Longhorn Run is set this next year for Saturday April 14, 2012. There will be a 10k and 2-miler course starting and ending around 21st and Speedway near Gregory Plaza. This race is the only 10k on the Forty Acres Campus and it is a great way to interact with so many different people from across campus. Anyone can run-not just students or faculty. Alumni and friends are welcome.

Proceeds from the race will go to the Excellence Fund, a Student Government endowment dedicated to student projects and programs. The purpose of the endowment is to give students the resources to make a difference on campus, in the community and around the world. In 2009, the Excellence Fund committee allocated $5,000 to students.

Please help us begin to spread the word about this awesome race!
